United Response employee
We recruit people in lots of different roles with lots of different skills. Working for United Response in any capacity can be fun, fascinating, challenging and fulfilling. It’s a place where you can make good things happen – both for the people we support and for your career.
Our Support Workers help people with a diverse range of needs to lead independent lives. They give encouragement, guidance and support so they can make their own choices and do the things they enjoy. That might involve helping with simple tasks such as making a cup of tea, or helping someone enjoy a day out.
Our Lead Senior Support Workers have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and get involved in more areas, including deputising for Service Managers, being the recognised experts in practice areas and supervising colleagues.
Our Service Managers and Team Managers make sure that all the resources in the service are managed effectively and our Area Managers manage a diverse number of managers and services. They have overall responsibility for their areas, staff, budgets and the people they support.
We also have many different roles across business support services including HR, Practice Development, IT, Communications and Fundraising, Finance and Administration. Our HQ is in Wimbledon, south-west London, but we also have area offices around the country.
All our area and divisional offices have their own Administration teams that support both service delivery and people processes such as recruitment and training. These roles are varied and interesting with no two days being the same.
